CONGRATULATIONS to Phil Rapp and his incredible 4 year old horse Don’t Look Twice. If you do look twice you’ll see they laid down a 227 in the Derby Open Finals to win at Carol Ward’s El Rancho Futurity, and then followed that crowd pleaser with another 227 to win in the PCCHA Cutting Stakes Final in Paso Robles, CA. What a treat it is to work on her. She exudes toughness and man does she love to cut a cow!!
Further congrats go to Phil Rapp and Secret Spender for making the NCHA National Championship Semi-Finals. She is really going to be a horse to watch in 2010.
Big Congratulations to Mary Ann Rapp who really brought home the bacon by placing 3rd in the Non-Pro Finals on Toy Engine, and 18th on Amanda’s Little Star. Great job on getting two horses into the prestigious Finals!
Finally, a big high five to Tim Smith for riding “Whiskeynadirtyglass” to 8th place in the National Championship Open Finals! Whiskey is a tough little guy, and it was a thrill to see him show his stuff at the Finals.
I would also like to thank Phil and Mary Ann for their wonderful hospitality during the 3 ½ weeks I was at their Ranch in Texas. Everyone on their team does a terrific job and it was a pleasure to work with them and get to know everyone better. I look forward to returning for the Super Stakes!
How 'bout them California Cuttin' Cowgirls!!!
Congratulations to Carol Ward and Debbie Gerber for their outstanding performance at the Breeder's Invitational in Tulsa, OK. They both reached the finals and brought home some hard earned winnings. (2009)

“Bill, if it wasn’t working, you wouldn’t be here.” Phil Rapp
This quote came out of a conversation that Phil and I were having in regards to giving a testimonial for my work at his ranch in Texas (Nov - Dec 2009). This is a business with high expectations of anyone who gets the opportunity to contribute to the improvement and well-being of the horses at Rapp Ranch. I appreciate this from Phil because it is a no nonsense quote that truly gets right to the bottom line of what really matters.
I arrived at Rapp Ranch on November 18th to work on his Futurity horses for the upcoming National Championship in Ft. Worth. I ended up staying till the 15th of December. Mary Ann and Phil were kind enough to ask if I would like to stay at the Ranch in their new house they had built for some of the crew.
By the time it was all over, Mary Ann had taken 3rd and 18th in the Non-Pro Championship, Denver Mead had made the Finals in the Amateur class, and Tim Smith and Whiskeyinadirtyglass had taken 8th place in the Open Finals. It truly was a team effort. I have to say what an honor it was for me to be a part of the outstanding team of people that work for Phil and Mary Ann. Everybody knows their job and is excellent at the task of preparing and caring for all of the 22 horses I worked on.
I also had the opportunity to work on Woody Be Lucky, and Neverey for Dan and Karen Hansen. They both competed in the World Championship Finals. Dan finished in 10th place on Neverey, and Karen finished in 14th place on Woody Be Lucky. I also worked on Sweet Corn, Dan’s Non-Pro Futurity horse. She was a sweetheart, and for being a bit skittish, she managed to make it to the Semi-Finals. She will just get better as she becomes more seasoned.
Overall, it was a complete immersion in the world of professional horses. I did full body treatments and tune-ups for the right horse at the right time at Rapp Ranch. While there, I asked for the opportunity to work on the two Grand Dames of the ranch, the great Tap O Lena, and Playboys Ruby. I did two treatments for each of them and they responded with easier movement and actually regained a little bounce to their step. What an honor it was to work on the two matriarchs that literally helped to build Rapp Ranch.
I want to thank Phil and Mary Ann for their hospitality and generosity during my stay. I was thrilled to be there. It really was one of the best months of my life.
I have been invited back to the Ranch for the Super Stakes, and I can hardly wait. Be sure to check back for updates!

Here's some more information about me:
My primary modalities are Reiki, ChiGong, Jin Shin, and Sahaj Energy Healing.
I’ve been treating people since 1991 and for the last 10 years I’ve become known as “The Hands on the Horse Guy.” I now focus on performance horses in the Cutting Horse and Barrel Racing world. I travel to NCHA shows from the Pacific Northwest to
Some of my clients like to call me “The Million Dollar Healer”! It's been exciting tracking my clients earnings (cutting and barrel racing) for the past 5 years. So far we're at $1,758,496!
Of course when we talk about earnings we’re taking into account the many aspects that contribute to a horse’s win. I am one piece to the puzzle. However, I do know that after a treatment, my clients have seen and felt a positive shift in their horse’s performance. I’m confident that I can help any horse improve by at least 5 to 10 percent.
We have seen in Barrel Racing that it can make a significant difference in the winning margin. To name just a few of my clients that have benefited from my work are Phil and Mary Ann Rapp, Carol Ward Debbie Gerber, Judi Macdonald, Serena and Rheta Mote, Pam Cravens, Ellen Ream and Jennifer Storts.
