My friend's Warmblood had issues with edema in his hind leg to the point of lameness. I used the linament (Healin' Liniment) and immediately saw it go to work drawing the heat out of the leg. After 2 days of linament and wrapping, his leg returned to normal, and he has had no soundness issues since.
I also use the linament (1/2 cup added to a bucket of warm water) as a post workout brace. I sponge it over the horses' backs and hindquarters. They seem to relax & they smell good too!
The Healin' Balm is versatile and can be used on all kinds of wounds as well as sunburn, dry heels and to soften old scar tissue. I also noticed it helps my rough horse-girl hands!
